Description:

EasyHelp V2.70 is a very easy to use hypertext (help/html)
authoring tool for use with Word 6, specially
designed for non technical users.
 
The same document(s) can be used for printing AND
for creating Windows Help or Web pages.

New in this Version (replaces EASY25x.ZIP and EASY26x.ZIP)

1. Context numbers now supported, automatically creates
   C header files
2. Improved graphics handling, automatically replaces bitmaps
   with references to shg files if they exist etc.
   Or for HTML replaces with gif file references	
3. Better error trapping.
4. Even easier to use.

6. Improved installation and presentation
7. Whole set of new example files to get you going quickly.
8. Intelligent detection of topic type when creating links.
9. Example a to z index and graphics included.
10.Open interface to the Topic and Link macros
11.Colors are user definable.

IMPORTANT:
-----------
1. You MUST load the install.doc to complete the installation.
2. You MUST to supply the Help Compiler (HCP.EXE) yourself
   if you wish to produce help files.
   HCP is not required if you only want to produce HTML files 
3. You MUST use Version 3.10.505 (or greater) of HCP.EXE
   if you ARE producing help files.
4. You MUST supply your own viewer for HTML files.
5. You MUST use Word 6.0a (or greater).

Registration

You can try EasyHelp for about a month,
after that you MUST register if you continue using it.

Cost of registration varies according to the
level of support you require.

Use four easy and simple steps to create a help file:
  1. Create Topics
  2. Create Links
  3. Process
  4. Build (only for Windows Help)

1. EasyHelp does not do everything, so if you want very 
   fancy help, then use one of the other tools.
2. Training, authoring and consultancy is also available
   from Eon Solutions.
3. Make sure you read DISCLAIM.TXT 


IMPORTANT - IF THINGS ARE NOT WORKING
-------------------------------------
1. To complete the installation you MUST run
   the tutorial by clicking on the
   EasyHelp Tutorial icon in the EasyHelp Program Manager Group.

   (This icon loads INSTALL.DOC into Word which installs
   the EasyHelp template and then automatically
   loads the first example document).

2. Make sure you have the correct version of the Help Compiler.

3. Non UK/US versions of Word are supported,
   contact Eon Solutions for details.
